Contains writing in the hand of Matthew Paris (see R. Vaughan, 'The handwriting of Matthew Paris', Transactions of the Cambridge Bib. Soc. 1 (1953) 390–92).

Portrait on fol. 42v headed 'Frater Iohannes de Walingeford quandoque Infirmarius'.

'Hic(?) est liber frater Iohannis de Walingeford quem [ . . . ] uel [ . . . ] uel inde [ . . . . . . ] sit amen amen' (fol. 1v in red).
