| Notes on evidence: | 'Precium istius liber, iiij s. iiij d. / dominus Wyllielmus Wyssheter dedit hunc / librum ad cenobiam sancte Frideswyde virginis.' This ex dono inscription is followed by a later note in another hand that Wyssheter had sold it to William Moll for 2s. 6d. Whether it ever reached St Frideswide's is therefore uncertain. |
