Wright, Fontes, says that the MS contains a calendar of Barking Abbey. ‘In die sancte ethelburg de Berkyng’ is added to October 10. Not in MLGB or Suppt. See Essex Arch Soc, 1933 and 1945 (MRJ and NRK on Essex MSS). I couldn’t see anything to support it and J and K must have been unconvinced. |
