Notes on evidence: | A book given by the founder 'in quo continentur taxaciones omnium ecclesiarum in singulis Diocesibus per totam Angliam' was brought to the college in 1418–19 by John Arnold, summonitor to Bishop Wykeham. It is entered (without second folio) in the inventory in the Liber Albus, fol. 34v, where it is said to be 'modo in manibus Custodis', to which is added 'in manibus Park' (John Park, fellow of Winchester 1430–72). |
