Notes on evidence: | BL MSS Add. 34652 fol. 2 + Cotton Otho B.x fols. 55, 58 & 62 were part of Cotton Otho B.xi. Three leaves of Cotton Otho B.xi bound up wrongly after the fire of 1731. The Bede is in the same script as the Parker Chronicle (Cambridge, Corpus Christi College, 173) for the years 924–55, which was at Winchester. The Chronicle is a copy of the Parker Chronicle to the year 1001. Later at Southwick priory (q.v.). |
