Also at foot of first leaf: 'Abnego ego dominus Nicholaus Alexander papam et affirmo regem nostrum Henricum octavum esse caput supremum tocius ecclesie anglicane in perpetuum et hoc [?] sibi et suis heredibus successiue' (read by u. v. light 1949).
