Notes on evidence:

'Anianus dominus Abbas Valle crucis me possidet' (the first five words perhaps rewritten, the last two very faint); above, legible by u. v. light, is 'Jesus Maria dauit', and below 'Ennyngly Convey, Codyngton'.

Document, probably a copy s. xvi, at end, relating the transfer of inhabitants from Valle Crucis to Stanstie by the founder of the abbey.
