'Hunc librum dedit dompnus Iohannes de Westwyk' deo et beate Marie et sancto oswyno regi et martiri de Tynemuth et monachis ibidem deo servientibus. Anima dicti Iohannis et omnium fidelium anime per dei misericordiam requiescant in pace. Amen.' (fol. 1v), inscription seems to be in the hand of the text.
