Colophon (fol. 146r): 'Finito libro sit laus et gloria christo. Solvite nunc mentem pro W. H. ad omnipotentem. De vita christi libro finis datur isti. Porro lactabit, solidos quasi pane cibalis [sic]. De Bethlem [sic] pratum, dedit hos Iesu tibi flores. Post hunc ergo statum, reddas sibi semper honorem' of M. Deanesly, Lollard Bible, p. 325 (letter of J. P. Gibson in C.V.L.).

The MS. is prefaced by a colophon which records the MS. was produced at the Carthusian Charterhouse at Sheen by William Mede (d. 1474): 'Speculum deuotorum. et est Liber domus Ihesu de bethleem ordinis cartusiensis de shene et nomen scriptoris Willelmus plenus amoris.'
