Notes on evidence: | (fol. 94v) 'Memoriale Petri Fader quondam Vicarii Sarisburie'. The entry in Allen's catalogue in Wood F.26, under 4o MS. 7, shows that this was then part of MS. Digby 173, a manuscript given to Salisbury by Fader. ? Usher had it from Allen, as he refers to Tessington as being 'In bibliotheca nostra' in his introductions to his ed. of the Ignatian epistles. |
