Et quicumque hunc librum ab eo alienauerit absque eius licencia: malediccionem dei incurrat . fiat fiat. Amen.' (fol. 183r).
Inscription, with illuminated border, recording the first owner's noviciate: 'Anno domini Milesimo CCC. octogesimo sexto. In die sancti Augustini Anglorum apostoli [26 May]. Intrauit domum probacionis beate Marie de Bordesley frater Johannes Norþewode, quem in uia religionis assumpte deuotissime custodiat trinitas sancta nunc et in perpetuum. amen.' (fol. 182v).

Goditha, daughter of Sir Thomas Throckmorton, was wife of Edward Peto (d. 1487) and mother of Cardinal William Peto.
