| Notes on evidence: | 'Owr' der' lady gyue yame sonu yat wythdrauwys or wythholdys ys boke fro ye lady house of Bollton' in Crauyn' for Rodes Borud(?) hyt yar'e (sic) anno regni regis henr' vjti iiijto' (fol. 107r). At end an indenture and a 'bill' (both of 1 Edw. VI) refer to Ottley and Wakefield respectively. The former is ten miles from Bolton.
