Notes on evidence:

'Liber beate Marie de beluero. Hunc librum dedit frater Willelmus de beluero prior eiusdem ecclesie deo et beate marie de beluero quem qui alienauerit uel fraudem aliquam inde fecerit indignacionem dei incurrat. Anima dicti Willelmi et anime omnium fidelium defunctorum requiescant in pace amen' (fol. 107r, also on fol. 145v).

Prior William de Belvoir II (1333–before 1361) left a number of volumes to the library; they may have been transferred to St Albans in the first years of the 15th cent. (Sharpe, Benedictines, 585–6); some were at Eton shortly thereafter, by 1465 (Willoughby, Collegiate Churches, 160).
