Provenance: Norwich, Norfolk. Carmelite convent.
Location: British Library, London

Type of evidence: i: evidence from an inscription of ownership by an individual member of a religious house (which may not, however, be evidence for institutional ownership)
Notes on evidence:

Notes connect the book with the Carmelites and in particular the Norwich convent: (fol. 191v) "Orate pro anima [...] Thome Bradley quondam anachorit' in Conuentu fratrum Carmelitarum norwic'", and on fol. 166v: "Doctor waterpytte [Th. Waterpytte, prior c. 1486–1491] dedit Ricardo Cakure istum librum".

Later inscriptions seem to relate to the cathedral priory: (fol. 69r) "Iste codex pertinet ad me D. Georgium Canky [?] monacum Norwycensis ad me Dompne George iste liber pertinet."

Date: s. xv in.
