'1483. Frater Iohannes Greene emit hunc librum Oxon' de elemosinis amicorum suorum' (flyleaf verso).

Fr. Mr. John Grene STD gave a book to the Bedford Franciscans in 1521 (Bodl. Laud misc. 176). The later connection of this book with Bedford suggests that he belonged to that house.
