Notes on evidence:

"Liber sancte marie [...]". The erased name begins either "hu" or "lin", followed by one or two letters with a curly vertical mark of abbreviation above the last. Inscription of s. xii ex. or xiii in. (?), on a specially ruled pencil line with title "glosatura porretani super psalterium" immediately below.

The regular form of inscription in Lincoln books of s. xii is "liber sancte marie linc'" on a ruled pencil line, with title and later pricemark below: this MS. was evidently removed from Lincoln before the pricemarks were inserted in the Lincoln books.
