Entries in Kalendar almost certainly indicate Winchester New Minster. Pp. 13–36 are in the same hand as the New Minster manuscripts that are BL MSS Stowe 944, Cotton Titus D. xxvi, xxvii.

The 2o folio 'esse locatum' (fol. 3r) and contents identify pp. 1–12, 39–216 with no. 1157 in the catalogue of St Augustine's abbey, Canterbury (Anc. Libr., p. 329).
