Given by Roger de Fuldon, archdeacon of Lincoln (1255/6–77), 'deo et S. Oswaldo et abbati \Petro de Bartona/ et conuentui de Bardoneia' (fol. i verso). Later belonged to Tattershall (q.v.) but was seen by Leland at Bardney. 14th-cent. Bardney cauciones, one 'ciste S. Iohannis', 1 Feb. 1389 (fol. 182v).
