Notes:

Egerton 3133 was originally part of Cotton Nero A.ix fols. 75–103: the scribe of the Lamport fragment (part of Eccleston's chronicle) did not write any of the Cotton MS.; but allowing for the loss of a bifolium the Lamport fragment fits into the other, and both have annotations in the hand of Fr. Wm. Herbert, s. xiv in. Together they formed the original of the Phillipps MS. of Eccleston. See A.G. Little in EHR 49 (1934) 299ff., and B. Schofield in Brit. Mus. Quart. 9, p. 116.
