Notes on evidence: | Oriel Coll. 15, or its exemplar, was written in 1389 by a Glastonbury monk: inscription at end of art. 2 (Holcot) erased, but legible by u.v. light: "Scriptus fuerat iste liber de industria fratris Nicholai ffawkes monachi Glastonie anno domini trecentesimo octogesimo nono quo tempore plures questiones de opere holkoth graue fuerat inuenire" (fol. 210r) in the hand of arts. 2–6. This may have been copied from the exemplar. |
