Notes in the hand of Bp. John Grandison, see esp. fol. 137r: 'Nota hic quod papa se purgauit suspicione volens carere non ex necessitate ... J Ex'. Identifiable by the opening words of the first leaf of text (fol. iv verso) 'In Italia' with the 'Breviarium Canonum Apostolorum in magno volumine quod sic incipit In Ytalia pret' ijlib' in the Exeter Catalogue of 1327 (Oliver, Lives, p. 304). (The Eton MS. measures 17 x 123/24 and has 370 leaves; the table of contents header in large capitals, 'Incipit breviarium Canonum apostolorum comes on fol. 4v).
