Notes on evidence:

': D : VII : Vita sancti Wingualei ... forma egergium ... 88 ...' (fol. 2r, s. xiv).

Pressmark identifies the first item of this with James, ALCD, p. 460 (no. 169). See description in Hist. MSS. Comm. Rep., Various Collections 2 (1903), pp. 24–27 and in Cardiff Public Libraries. Catalogue of manuscripts ... etc. relating to St. David (Cardiff 1927), pp. 1–5 (descr. by J. A. Herbert). The lives of Æthelburga, etc. are not from Dover.

Wilmart, Anal. Boll. 56 (fasc. 3–4), pp. 24–25 n. suggests that they were written at St Augustine's, Canterbury. Evidence inconclusive. The volume was one in s. xv.
