Was pledged in the Billingford chest in 1436 by William Dyngley, who gave it to Peterhouse; it is identifiable by secundo folio in the medieval catalogue. William Dyngley was fellow of Peterhouse from 1392 to at least 1433 (BRUC 203).

'Caucio mag' Will' Dyngley exposita ciste Bylyngford a.d. mo ccccmo xxxvjto vij die mensis Maii pro xl s.' (fol. 271v).

Another erased note reads: 'Caucio M' W' Gyll exposita ciste Nell [[   ]] a.d. m. cccc. xxxiii.' (fol. 271v).
